[Dublin] A Baseline x Seapoint Series: Fundraising

SEP10
18:00 · Europe / Dublin

About this event

A monthly, off-the-record conversation about the reality of running a startup, the stuff you don't see on LinkedIn. What broke, what almost broke, what might still break.
Every month we pick a theme: burn rate anxiety, the hire you're not sure about, the board meeting you're dreading, fundraising when the market is cold, the competitor who just raised a bag of cash.
A space for founders to talk openly. You don't need to have answers, you don't even need to speak. But if you've been performing for investors, your board, and your team all week, this is the room to finally get a break.
This month: Fundraising
Sean Mullaney, CEO and founder of Seapoint, has raised £10m across his pre-seed and seed rounds — all of it pre-revenue and before launching the product out of beta. This month he sits down for an honest conversation about how it actually went.
We'll get into the challenges along the way, what went well and what didn't, and what he'd do differently next time. Expect real learnings, how the game changes from pre-seed to seed, and one every founder runs into: how to manage all the conflicting advice you get while raising.
Plus the practical stuff: how to run a raise like a system instead of a casual process, what a VC's silence actually means, how to keep going through a run of no's, and how one term sheet can flip the whole thing.
Come with whatever you're sitting with - a raise you're dreading, a round that's stalled, a number that's keeping you up. Ask as much or as little as you want. Nothing leaves the room.

Dublin | Supabase × iru x Claude Community Meetup

Hen's Teeth Dublin, Dublin 8, Ireland
In person

Join us for an evening with Dublin’s builder community, brought to you by Supabase, Claude Community and Iru. This one is for people who are actively building. Whether you’re deep into Supabase, experimenting with Claude Code, or shipping scripts to a fleet of devices and hoping for the best, you’ll fit right in. The theme: ship it like a dev. AI has changed who gets to write code. Developers already use it for everything from code generation to security reviews to weekend prototypes, and IT and Security teams have the same opportunity. Too often, though, a script gets written, it runs, and it goes out to thousands of devices with no review at all. Tonight we look at bringing the developer mindset to all of it: review it, test it, then ship it. We kick off with lightning talks, three speakers, thirty minutes each, across a range of experience levels and no filler. Then the workshop: thirty minutes, laptops open, one challenge. Build the most complicated thing you can with Claude Code before the clock runs out. Speakers include: Kevin Collins: Claude Code Community ambassador representing Claude Code and Anthropic Pedro Rodrigues: AI Tooling Engineer at Supabase Ryan Slater: Principal Solutions Architect at Iru Run of Show: 6:00pm: Arrive. Grab a soft drink and some food, find a seat, say hello. 6:30pm: Lightning talks. Three speakers, 30 minutes each, varying levels of experience, no filler. 8:00pm: Workshop. 30 minutes to build the most complicated thing you can with Claude Code. 8:30pm: Networking. Stick around, swap notes, keep the conversation going.
