These days we often work across many languages and technologies, and we want to help you keep up. #1 - Strategic Software Design: Architecting Software that Lasts \- Oleksandr Polieno (IGLU) has deep expertise in software engineering, having taken on challenges ranging from database optimization to web apps. He's going to provide insight on making decisions that are expensive to reverse - covering how much to plan up front, where to spend effort, choosing architecture, and how this same discipline extend to building with LLMs. #2 - Introduction to Differential Dataflow: Fast Queries in Rust on Changing Data - Cesar Augusto (nosotro.app) had to overcome the challenges of keeping application state up to date as new events flooded in. He'll introduce us to Differential Dataflow, data-parallel programming framework designed to efficiently process large volumes of data and to quickly respond to arbitrary changes in input collections. Only Devs is a free event for anyone that's interested in keeping up with the latest programming languages, libraries, and techniques.
