Coffee & Lift Thursdays — Women+ Gym Meetup at Holmes Place Gendarmenmarkt

OCT8
19:00 · Europe / Berlin

About this event

Women's Lift Club has been growing every Saturday, gathering 300+ women+ who show up regularly for coffee, a walk, and a strength session together.
But we kept hearing from people who wanted to join and couldn't due to the spot limitation or the timing. So we're now also at Holmes Place Gendarmenmarkt on Thursdays: every Thursday evening in October at Holmes Place Gendarmenmarkt, hosted by core members of the community. Same format as Saturdays (coffee, walk, lift), just on a weeknight.

How it works
We meet in front of a cafe, grab a coffee, take a walk together, and end at a gym nearby. Want to train after? Great — work on your own program or buddy up with someone. Prefer to just do the walk and grab a coffee? Also great. What matters is that you're surrounded by other women who are interested in getting stronger.

Where we meet:
We meet at Starbucks Friedrichstraße
We walk to and gym at Holmes Place Gendarmenmarkt
Note: the cafe may change between editions, but it'll always be a short walk from the gym. The gym (Holmes Place Gendarmenmarkt) stays the same every Thursday.

What to bring
Comfy shoes, your gym stuff and your energy!
For the gym session, you'll need your own access to Holmes Place Gendarmenmarkt.

Important
This is a women+ space, open to women, trans, non-binary, and gender-non-conforming folks. Cis men, please sit this one out.
Free to attend.
This event is capped to a small group, so please only register if you're fully committed to coming. Thank you!
You can also only join the coffee & walk for the social, accountability and recovery!
Please don't be late: we start walking 10 minutes after the meetup time.
Can't make this one? Follow us on Instagram to stay updated about the next meetup.

Coffee & Lift Saturdays #19 — Women+ Gym Meetup

19grams Alex – Coffee Roastery, Berlin, Germany
In person

When I first started strength training, I was intimidated, confused, and nowhere near consistent. I kept thinking it would be easier if I just had other women around me going through the same thing. So I'm starting exactly that — for women who want to be more serious about their strength training, get extra accountability and a community of women. How it works We meet in front of a cafe, grab a coffee, take a walk together (25min walk), and end at a gym nearby. Want to train after? Great — work on your own program or buddy up with someone. Prefer to just do the walk and grab a coffee? Also great. What matters is that you're surrounded by other women who are interested in getting stronger. Free Evo Fitness day passes for our community! Evo Fitness is offering registered members 3 free day passes to come try the gym, plus an exclusive discounted membership rate. Please make sure that you get your free Evo Fitness day passes by signing up here BEFORE the session: https://evofitness.de/en/womens-lift-club. And please select "Free Gym Pass" option when you register. Also, as a member of the Women's Lift Club, you'll have the opportunity to sign up for an exclusive EVO membership with a 10 € discount on the regular Flex rate. All we ask in return is a quick story from the session tagging @womensliftclub. Free filter coffee from 19grams! 19grams is treating us to filter coffee when we arrive, courtesy of their team. It's first come, first served — so show up on time! Plus, 15% off anything else at the bar for the whole group. Where we meet: We meet at 19grams Alex We walk for 25min We hit the gym together at Evo Fitness Spittelmarkt What to bring Comfy shoes, your gym stuff and your energy! Locks for storing your bags while training The coffee and walk are free to join and open to everyone. For the gym session, you'll need your own access to Evo Fitness Spittelmarkt. Wellpass and Urban Sports Club (at least Classic) work too. No worries — we have free gym day passes

In a proof of concept, AI is a feature. In production, it becomes infrastructure. The impressive demo is the easy part. Shipping it means confronting everything the prototype was allowed to ignore: maintenance, integration, failure, accountability, cost, and the people whose work will be reorganized around the system. Organizations often treat Proof-of-Concept Prison as a technical problem. But many prototypes remain prototypes because nobody has made the decisions a real product requires. Ownership stays vague, budgets remain temporary, and delivery teams inherit risks they do not have the authority to resolve. The organization wants innovation, but hesitates when innovation demands lasting responsibility. Yet assigning a product owner does not settle the deeper question of

You’re invited to an evening of career stories, connection, culture, and belonging, hosted by the Black Community at GetYourGuide. Instead of a traditional panel, we’re building a “Human Library”: a set of real people, ready for short conversations in small groups or 1:1. Choose a story or topic, talk, then rotate and meet someone new. Here are a few examples: “Why I changed careers at 31.” “Why I failed a promotion?” “How I navigated the stress of applying for a visa.” “How I found my way into tech.” What you’ll leave with: a story that stays with you, advice you can use, and a connection worth following up on. And that’s not all. There will be Afro-inspired food, professional headshots, networking, career insights, and on-site recruitment support. Agenda 5:00 PM Arrival & seating Doors open, welcome drinks 5:45 PM Welcome from the GetYourGuide team Opening remarks, framing for the evening 6:00 PM Living Library Conversations with 'human books' sharing real career stories and tactics 7:00 PM Stations Food, headshots, recruitment support and networking 8:00 PM Closing Who's Invited? Women of SaaS Berlin – SaaS Week Berlin Side Event

Doctolib Deutschland, Berlin, Germany
In person

Women of SaaS @ SaaS Week Berlin 2026 The AI-Native Company: What Tech Orgs Look Like in 2026 SaaS Week Berlin brings people from across the industry together and this evening creates space for women in SaaS to step into one of the biggest conversations shaping the future of work: what it means to build and work at an AI-native company. AI-native companies aren't just tech companies that use AI. They're organizations rethinking headcount, hierarchy, and hiring based on what the work actually requires now – not what a SaaS org chart has traditionally looked like. Roles like prompt engineers and AI orchestration leads are emerging while entire layers of "traditional" middle management are being questioned. If you were building a team – or a company – from scratch today, what's the headcount, and how much of it is human? Join us to explore what tech orgs could look like in 2026 – with Women of SaaS's lens on what it means for the women leading, and being hired into, these new structures. ✨ What you’ll get out of it Understand how AI is changing the way SaaS teams are built and run Explore what an AI-native company could mean for your role, team, and career Build relationships you can continue beyond the event 👏 A huge thank you to our event partners Doctolib and Berlin SaaS Week 2026 for making this event possible and championing women in SaaS. 🎯 Event Agenda 19:00 | Arrival, first drinks & networking 19:30 | Welcome from Women of SaaS & Doctolib 19:50 | Panel discussion: What Tech Orgs Look Like in 2026Doreen Huber, Investor, Board Member and ex-COO Delivery Hero Susanne Dubuisson, Director of Product Management, Doctolib Maren Kaspers, VP of Marketing, octonomy 20:25 | More networking, food & drinks 22:00 | See you next time 💛 We can’t wait to see you there!
