About this event

Code & Cowork is a free, no-frills coworking day at Union Hall.
This is a chance to get stuff done, bump into other devs, and see what cool things people are building. Maybe you’ll meet a future co-founder, maybe you’ll just get a free lunch. Either way, it’s a win.
No panels. No pitches. Just a bunch of engineers, laptops, and a great space to work. Call it coworking, call it vibe coding, either way, we’ll see you there!

Here’s the rundown:
👨💻 Free coworking at Union Hall
👀 Meet engineers actually shipping cool stuff
💡 Get a peek at what folks are building & swap ideas
🍕 Free Lunch—because devs gotta eat

Claude For Everyone Workshop

1819 Innovation Hub - University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, United States
In person

This is a two-hour, hands-on free session built for people who keep hearing about Claude or getting started with Claude and want to actually get their hands on it, not watch someone else demo it. You'll leave having used Claude yourself, in ways that go well beyond the basics. We'll cover how Projects keep your work organized so Claude actually remembers your context instead of starting from scratch every time. We'll build Artifacts, starting your love of vibe coding with simple tools. And we'll get you started with Skills, so Claude can learn how you like things done and repeat it without you re-explaining yourself every time. This is not a technical session. We won't touch Claude Code. Bring your laptop, Claude account and your questions. Key takeaways: Understand what Claude and Cowork can actually do Learn how Projects keep your work organized and your context intact Build your first Artifact, a real, usable output, not a demo Get introduced to Skills and how they save you from repeating yourself Leave knowing exactly how to navigate Claude We will be in Room 230 on the second floor.
