Startup Events in Newcastle

Students in grades 5 to 8 will learn coding fundamentals such as inputs, outputs, if statements, loops, variables, and operators through hands-on activities. This workshop is designed for young learners wanting to build their coding skills. It is hosted by Ontario Tech University’s Engineering Outreach at the Newcastle Public Library.

Kids in grades JK to 2 explore coding and science concepts through hands-on activities with tech toys like robots and circuits. Caregivers must stay during the session to support younger children. This workshop encourages creativity and curiosity through playful STEM learning in a library setting.
