Join us for the official launch of Life Sciences Week 2026, bringing together Alberta’s political, policy, industry, and academic leaders to spotlight the province’s growing role in health innovation. Alongside thought-provoking discussion, the event offers valuable networking opportunities with more than 200 leaders from government, healthcare, academia, industry, investment, and ecosystem organizations. This kick-off sets the tone for the week ahead; celebrating Alberta’s progress and charting the path forward for a stronger, globally connected life sciences sector.

Startup Crawl South Startup Crawl is heading south for Edmonton Startup Week, taking you beyond downtown for a behind-the-scenes visit to G2V Optics. Hop on the shuttle at Edmonton Unlimited, test your startup knowledge with some trivia along the way, then step inside G2V Optics for a tour of their facility, Q&A with the team and time to connect over food and light refreshments. It’s a chance to get out into the city, see what’s being built in Edmonton and meet the people behind the technology. This year, Launch Party is coming home. We’re throwing open the doors at Edmonton Unlimited and inviting the community to our house for one big night celebrating the people, companies and momentum shaping Edmonton’s tech & innovation story. And because Edmonton Startup Week happens to line up with CFR this year, we’re having a little fun with it. After a day that includes AgTech and the future of agriculture, we’re carrying that farm-inspired feel into the evening—with great food and one big community gathering. Think house party vibes, a DJ, live band, live cooking stations, all things barbecue and activations throughout. And we’re not stopping at our front door. The party will spill out into the green space next door, bringing the experience inside and out with plenty of room to explore, catch up, make new connections and have the conversations that don’t always happen at a typical networking event. Your ticket gets you into the party, along with food, drink tickets, swag and a few surprises we’re keeping under wraps for now. Not sure what to wear? There’s no dress code, but if you want to lean into the night, think trucker hats, denim, overalls and a little farm-inspired flair. Keep it casual. Keep it grassroots. Make it your own.
