AI Slop is Your Choice: Don’t Outsource Your Judgment

SEP18
17:40 · Europe / Budapest

About this event

Welcome to Season 2 of CircleBudapest!
So yup, AI.
We use it a lot. But the more it produces, the more everything starts to look the same. Same brands. Same posters. Same copy. Same ideas, just faster.
People universally call it: AI slop.
And we don’t think AI is really the problem. Slop happens when making something becomes so easy that nobody stops to ask if it’s actually any good. That’s what this evening is about. AI can do more of the work. Sure. So what are we still responsible for?
The Agenda & What You'll Learn
17:40: Doors open, drinks, people
18:10: Welcome to Season 2
18:15: AI-Assisted, Not AI-Generated (by Nándor Fehér)
First, the mindset shift.
No, this isn't a “stop using AI and go back to Figma” talk. Quite the opposite.
We've built parts of our upcoming CircleCampus project with AI tools. These tools can do a ridiculous amount of work for us. But someone still has to decide what the thing should be, notice when it feels wrong, kill the generic ideas, and refuse to ship the first plausible answer.
That's the human part.
We'll get into AI slop, taste, visuals, copy, thinking with AI, and why obvious AI work often says more about the person who approved it than the model that generated it.
We will also share a base prompt we recommend to make chat interfaces like ChatGPT less agreeable and way more useful when he actually wants his thinking challenged.
18:30: Stop Chatting With AI and Give It a Job (by Matt Malishev)
Okay, so we've kept our judgment. Now let's make the machine useful.
Matt works with AI systems that actually do things, not just sit in a chat window waiting for another prompt.
What is worth automating? What tools are actually useful? What can be connected together? And what needs to happen before you'd comfortably let an AI system run without watching it every five minutes?
Less “look what AI can do.” and more “here's where this actually saves you work.”
18:45: When the AI Does It, Who's Responsible? (by Bence Gajdácsi)
And then there's

#1 Post Mortem - The truth is out there - "Incident caused by AI Model"

Kollab, Budapest, Hungary
In person

The event will be at Mammut in Kollab. If you come by car, you can park at the Mammut hotel. Multiple public transport options are available. For example, 4-6. What is the event goal? In cybersecurity, we often avoid discussing incidents. Few companies conduct post-mortems or perform in-depth analyses. We are carrying out a technical deep dive into these incidents. We try to answer these questions with the 5 whys: Why did the incident happen? Why was that possible? Why did the control that should have stopped it fail? Why wasn't it detected sooner? Why does the underlying condition exist across the environment? What is the subject? Mainstream media covered these incidents extensively, but much of it was clickbait and presented a distorted reality. We will address each point and provide a timeline where available. Line up: OpenAI vs Hugging Face incident (30 min) - David Papp Mexican government breach (15 min) - David Papp Break (10 min) Demo: "Hacking by AI model" (10 min) - David Papp Security leaders round table (20 min) - Tamas Folnagy, Zsolt Balogh Disclaimer: Gen0Sec is hosting this event, which has a no-sales, no-pitch policy. It is a technical event.

First Monday with Gábor Zsarnóczi

Create26, Budapest, Hungary · Startup Hungary
In person

On the 15th of September, join us for First Monday with Gábor Zsarnóczi from Ominimo! Two years ago Ominimo had not sold a single policy. This summer it closed a Series B at a $1.6B (€1.4B) valuation led by the EBRD's venture arm, becoming one of the fastest unicorns Europe has produced — and doing it on roughly $33M of total funding while staying profitable. Ominimo is a Hungarian-Serbian insurtech, headquartered in Belgrade-Budapest-Novi Sad. Founded in 2024 by Dusan Komar, Laslo Horvath and Dennis Weinbender, it rebuilt motor insurance from the pricing engine up: proprietary models, granular risk segmentation, automated operations. Hungary was the first market, where the company took a meaningful share of the MTPL market in year one by undercutting incumbents on price without losing money on the book. The numbers since then are hard to argue with. Annualized gross written premium went from €26.3M in 2024 to €157.8M in 2025 to roughly €307M today — a 12x run-rate in two years. Close to a million customers across Hungary, Poland, the Netherlands and Sweden, with Belgium and Romania live this year, Spain, Italy and France next, and a US launch targeted for 2027. Zurich came in as a strategic distribution partner and shareholder at Series A. The team has grown from around 40 to 130, two-thirds of them data scientists and software engineers, including eight Mathematics Olympiad medallists. That profile is unusual for the sector. Europe's last insurtech cycle produced expensive lessons about growth running ahead of underwriting discipline. Ominimo built the opposite case: profitable first, expand second, raise capital to accelerate rather than to survive. Gábor Zsarnóczi is a board member and Chief Growth Officer of Ominimo Group. He joined the founders early, coming from McKinsey — as did several of the company's leaders — and has run the Hungarian and Swedish market before stepping to a group role to lead all growth related efforts. Budapest Webflow Meetup #2: MCP Workflows & Custom Webflow Builds

KAPTÁR coworking - közösségi iroda, tárgyaló bérlés, workshop helyszín, Budapest, Hungary
In person

🗣️ Language: Hungarian (the presentations and discussions will be held in Hungarian) Join us for the second Budapest Webflow Meetup, an evening focused on MCP workflows, AI-assisted Webflow operations, and custom development beyond Webflow’s native capabilities. As MCP becomes increasingly relevant to how AI tools interact with platforms like Webflow, the focus of this meetup will be on practical implementation: what MCP enables today, how it can be used in real Webflow workflows, and where APIs, automation tools, or custom development remain the better approach. We’ll explore these areas through two technical sessions built around real workflows, implementation approaches, and practical lessons you can apply to your own projects. Whether you're a Webflow developer, designer, technical marketer, founder, freelancer, or agency owner, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of how MCP and custom development can extend what is possible with Webflow. 📅 Date: September 15, 2026 🕕 Time: 18:00–20:00 📍 Location: KAPTÁR Coworking (1065 Budapest, Révay köz 4.) 🗣️ Language: Hungarian Speaker 1 István Zámbó Co-Founder & Webflow Developer, Dare Studio Topic: Webflow MCP in Practice: From Prompt to Published Page Webflow MCP is changing what AI-assisted workflows can look like inside an actual Webflow project. Instead of stopping at content generation, AI can now work with CMS collections, items, page elements, and styles directly. Using two real projects — a mockup store with hundreds of products and a film portfolio — István will show how Webflow MCP workflows perform in day-to-day use: where they can remove repetitive work, how far the current capabilities go, and what changes when these workflows are introduced into live projects. Rather than a polished demo built around ideal conditions, the session will give a behind-the-scenes view of MCP in production, including the trade-offs, unexpected behavior, and practical lessons that only become visible once you start using it
