1. ACETIE & CCFA 2026 — AI, Intelligent Manufacturing and Consumer Lifestyle
The Australia–China Economic, Trade and Investment Expo (ACETIE) is an important platform connecting Australia and China through trade, investment and business cooperation.
Established in 2018, ACETIE is chaired by the Hon. Andrew Robb AO , former Australian Minister for Trade and Investment.
The Expo is supported by government and business organisations from both Australia and China and is jointly presented with the Australia China Business Council (ACBC) and the China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (CCCA) .
From 10–12 September 2026 , ACETIE and the China Commodity Fair Australia (CCFA) will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) .
Government representatives, business leaders, industry experts, exhibitors, buyers and other delegates from Australia and China will come together to showcase quality products and brands, exchange market and trade information, and explore new business opportunities.
Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, Governor of Victoria , together with prominent leaders from government, business and academia in both countries, will attend the Expo and officiate at the opening ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Nearly 300 Chinese and Australian businesses and organisations will gather at MCEC to showcase their products, promote their brands and explore partnership opportunities across the following sectors:
AI technology and intelligent manufacturing
Green energy and new energy vehicles
Consumer electronics and home appliances
Health, wellness and medical equipment
Food, beverages and lifestyle consumer products
Outdoor, garden and gift products
Intangible cultural heritage and traditional craftsmanship
For exhibitors, the presence of Australian and Chinese buyers, procurement platforms, local businesses and consumers will create valuable opportunities to introduce products, test the market and develop new commercial relationships.
