Claude Code is powerful, but most engineers don't know how to integrate it into their actual workflow. They try it once, get confused about context, or end up reviewing poorly-scoped changes. The result: they revert to manual coding because the friction isn't worth the speed gain.
The Session
This is a hands-on workshop where you'll learn how to use Claude Code as a workflow tool—not a replacement for your judgment. You'll work through real scenarios: exploring unfamiliar codebases, turning feature requests into implementation plans, drafting code and tests, and knowing when Claude Code is worth using versus when you need to steer.
You'll Learn
How to set up Claude Code and give it the context it needs to be useful
How to explore an unfamiliar repository without losing oversight
How to turn a feature request or bug into a working implementation plan
How to review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability
Which tasks are high-leverage for Claude Code and which require caution
Prompt patterns that fit into existing Git, code-review, and CI/CD workflows
