Epicenter builds an ecosystem of open-source, local-first productivity apps that store user data (notes, transcripts, chat histories) in a single folder of plain text and SQLite shared across tools. The project emphasizes data ownership, interoperability, and the ability to choose or self-host AI models and storage.
