C.C. Umwelt is a Krefeld-based industrial waste processor that collects, treats and valorises municipal waste incineration residues (slag) and filter dusts, recovering around 70,000 tonnes of metals annually and producing roughly 950,000 tonnes of material reused as substitute construction aggregate. The company operates multiple sites across Germany and provides long-term disposal solutions including proprietary access to a backfill mine for filter dusts.
