Bioro is a joint venture biodiesel producer that built an industrial-scale biodiesel plant in the Port of Ghent with a capacity of about 200,000 tonnes per year. The company was formed by Biodiesel Holding together with international partners including Cargill and Vanden Avenne to produce renewable diesel fuel for the Belgian market.
