Aquila Biolabs developed laboratory hardware — optical sensor devices and monitoring platforms — for online monitoring and analysis of shake-flask fermentations (including dissolved-oxygen sensor "pills" and related culture-monitoring systems). In 2021 the company joined/was acquired by US-based Scientific Bioprocessing, and its products and content are now hosted on the SBI website.
