Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP)

AKRSP develops and operates community-owned mini hydroelectric plants in Pakistan's Chitral district to provide clean, affordable, and reliable electricity to remote, mountainous communities. Acumen supported the construction and management of four mini-hydro plants (2.4 MW combined) directly impacting about 40,000 people and enabling scale toward the region’s 1.3 million residents.
