This retirement symposium will honor Dr. James R. Sellers for his major achievements in defining the structure-function relationships and regulation of myosin molecular motors over his remarkable 48 year NIH career. Esteemed scientists from the cytoskeleton and molecular motor fields — collaborators, colleagues, former trainees, and friends of Dr. Sellers — will speak. The event will be held in the Lipsett Amphitheater, NIH Bethesda Main Campus, on September 28, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a live-stream option. While registration is free, it is required. Space is limited, so please register by August 14th. The agenda for the symposium will be emailed to the address you used during registration as the event date approaches.
