About
ProMéxico was the Mexican government's trust fund responsible for promoting international trade and foreign investment. Following its dissolution in 2019, its functions—including the promotion of exports and the implementation of programs related to the T-MEC (USMCA) trade agreement—were transferred to the Ministry of Economy (Secretaría de Economía) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These programs focus on integrating Mexican SMEs into global value chains and leveraging the North American trade framework.
