At the Series B to C+ stage, the US 25th to 75th percentile range spans 12 to 37 months, while the UK range is narrower from 11 to 34 months. This indicates slightly greater variability in US startup progression speed at this growth phase.
Comparing earlier stages reveals a different pattern: the US median time from pre-seed to seed is 20 months versus 16 months in the UK, and from seed to Series A, the US median is 15 months compared to 22 months in the UK. The US also moves faster from Series A to Series B, with a 19-month median versus 23 months in the UK.
