This notice supports individual or co-promotion operations aimed at promoting national co-financing for Portuguese entities participating in European R&D projects, where co-financing is exclusively provided by national sources.

Eligible operations include industrial research and/or experimental development activities leading to the creation of new products, processes, or systems, or the introduction of significant improvements in existing products, processes, or systems.

The operations should involve Portuguese entities participating in the following European initiatives of the EUREKA Network:

Cluster Projects and EUREKA Network Projects (including projects participating in GLOBALSTARS and Multilateral Calls);
EUROSTARS Program, part of the European Partnership for Innovative SMEs within the EUREKA Network.

This notice applies to all NUTS II regions of mainland Portugal (North, Center, Lisbon, Alentejo, and Algarve). The project's location corresponds to the region where the investment is made.

In the case of applications submitted in co-promotion, Non-Business Entities of the R&I System (ENESII), including those from the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira, are also beneficiaries, provided the operations are funded under the Innovation and Digital Transition Program.
