Légy képben! – az IVSZ főtitkárának negyedéves online összefoglalója

On the 12th of October, join us for First Monday: Fundraising in CEE! This First Monday brings together partners from some of the region's most active early-stage funds: Inovo VC, KAYA VC, Portfolion and Lead Capital. You will learn about fundraising dynamics and get hands-on advice. Learn how they make investment decisions, what builds conviction, which red flags end a conversation, and what the regional benchmarks look like today. And yes, we'll talk about AI. Is traditional B2B SaaS really dead? What it takes to raise Series A or beyond? Is triple-triple-double-double-double no longer impressive in venture? Schedule 18:00–18:30 Registration 18:30–18:45 Intro 18:45–19:45 Panel discussion + Q&A 19:45–21:30 Drinks and networking 🍕 Startup Hungary is Powered by: This event is supported by: Project no. A BME TTK Science Campus újabb izgalmas előadással készül, melyen Neked is ott a helyed! 📣 Miért viselkedik a fény néha hullámként, máskor részecskeként? Hogyan lehetséges, hogy két részecske különös kapcsolatban marad akkor is, ha nagy távolság választja el őket? Sean Carroll Az univerzum legfontosabb elméletei című trilógiájának második részéhez kapcsolódó előadás a kvantumfizika lenyűgöző világába vezeti a hallgatóságot. Regisztrálj még most! Várunk szeretettel! 🌟

Frontier Fellowship Kickoff: Building a Global TechBio Startup from Budapest This is the first of three open events kicking off Frontier Fellowship, a new program by Startup Hungary for potential deep tech founders, university spin-outs, and researchers exploring what it takes to build a venture-scale company. We can only host 60 people, so this isn't first-come-first-served: register below, and we'll follow up to confirm your spot based on fit — please only register if you're genuinely planning to attend. The closed fellowship cohort is a separate thing: it starts in January 2027 and has its own selective application process (more info and application: https://frontier.startuphungary.io/ ). This first event is all about founder paths. Turbine is the hottest techbio startup in Hungary right now — and its founders came from completely different fields before building it together. We want to make the startup founder path more visible, and show that it's a valid, realistic career path — open to anyone willing to try. Best for: students, engineers, researchers, and anyone with a scientific / technical background or interest in deep tech, curious about startups — even if you're not sure yet whether it's for you. Panel Discussion: One Technology, Different Founder Paths Szabolcs Nagy (CEO, Turbine) Daniel Veres (CSO, Turbine) Kristof Szalay (CTO, Turbine) Ramzi Rizk (General Partner, Work In Progress Capital & Founder, Project Escape Velocity) Schedule 17:30–18:00 Registration 18:00–18:15 Opening + fellowship program introduction 18:15–19:15 Panel discussion 19:30-20:15 Expert table sessions 20:00–21:30 Drinks, pizza, networking 🍕 This event is part of the Frontier Fellowship program, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Hungary from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund.
