Global - Get Fable 5 Quality From Low-Cost AI Models

AUG9
08:00
  • This event covers how to produce high-quality results using low-cost AI models by creating effective systems around them.
  • It is aimed at AI practitioners and developers interested in optimizing AI model performance and cost efficiency.
  • Attendees can learn practical techniques to improve AI outputs without expensive resources.

About this event

Learn how to turn low-cost AI models into polished, high-quality output by building the right system around them. In this session, we’ll break down how structure, context, examples, rubrics, rewrite passes, and evaluation can dramatically improve model performance without relying on the most expensive model every time.

We’ll look at how to design prompts and workflows that guide smaller models toward stronger results: clear output contracts, role-based passes, critique loops, memory/context injection, and model routing. The goal is practical: spend less, get better drafts, and understand when a cheap model is enough versus when a premium model is worth using.

This class is for builders, business users, creators, and AI practitioners who want more control over quality, cost, and repeatability. If you’re trying to build better AI workflows instead of just asking better one-off prompts, this session will give you a clear framework to work from.

Show & Tell @TheMalaysian.ai Residency: Hardware Edition

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
In person

Every Thursday, a group of builders, creators and AI enthusiasts gather at 500 Global's office (in AICB) and have a Show & Tell session. At 4:30pm, everyone takes turns doing a quick sharing. We'll share what we learned from the week, features we shipped, ideas we explored, AI use cases we discovered, research we came across. And learn from other people in the room. It's a 3 mins sharing and a 1 min Q&A / feedback sesh. Note: This is not a pitch, it’s a session with other builders to share what you’re learning to help the community, and for you to learn and get feedback. Earlier that day from 12pm to 4:30pm, we'll co-work on our own projects and startups - in a community where everyone is building. You're surrounded by the highest concentration of AI builders in Malaysia, where you'll be working alongside people like you. About the Malaysian AI Residency This weekly gathering is part of the Malaysian AI Residency - a 2-month intensive program where teams build out their AI startup ideas full-time at the office. We're creating the highest concentration of AI builders in Malaysia, and these Thursdays are your chance to plug directly into that energy. Every Thursday, we open 10 seats for people who are building things in AI and want a space to focus. Think of it like your usual workday, but with great company. We keep it small on purpose so it stays meaningful. As spaces are limited, we vet everyone to make sure anyone we let in is able to fit well with the community. If you've never joined us before, please ensure you give enough information about yourself in the registration for us to properly get to know you and what you're working on. If this feels like your kind of Thursday, do sign up & share this Luma with a friend too! Agenda 12:00 PM - 4:30 PMCo-working: Plug in, focus, and build alongside other AI creators.
