🎮 Uniplay Hackathon- Build a game in a day September 28th | Historical Room, Eidra | 8:30–20:30 One day. One playable game. Build something people actually want to play - and that leaves them a little sharper than they were before. The challenge Design and ship a game in a single day. The constraints: it has to teach something, and it has to work on mobile. Everything else is up to you. Whether that's a skill, a mindset, a way of thinking, or just how to navigate something new the mechanics are entirely yours to design. Puzzle, sim, roguelike, something nobody's named yet. If it's fun and someone walks away better at something, it counts. What the day looks like You'll get access to tools from our tech partners, a full day to build, and a live pitch to the jury at the end. The best build: takes home cool prizes, and the strongest concepts have a shot at being developed further with Uniplay. There's also a game design internship at Uniplay on the table for the right person ;) Pizza and beers when the timer runs out! Who this is for Developers, designers, and anyone who likes building fast. Come solo or be a team of 2–3. Event is located in stockholm and we hope to see you in person. Getting in Spots are limited and we're reviewing as applications come in. Register via RSVP and tell us about your background, what draws you to the challenge, and your game idea. We'll confirm before September 23rd. No portfolio needed. Just curiosity, and the willingness to ship something real in a day. Be there or be square;)

Stockholm Ruby is back, this time hosted by Teamtailor! Note: this meetup is not about gemstones 💎 If you've never been before: it's about people who like making things and talking about it. Some write Ruby for a living, some poke at side projects when they can, and some arrive mostly just curious. Nobody cares if you're new, experienced, or just tagging along. Show up, say hi, you'll fit right in. Agenda 17.30. Doors open. Location, food, and drinks all nicely provided by Teamtailor! ~18 o'clock. Tiago Silva on code smells in Ruby and communication styles. ~19 o'clock. Ingemar, How to write a plugin system for IRB in 15 minutes. ~19.30 through 20.30 or so. Room for lightning talks. 22.00? doors close. Lovely meeting you! About lightning talks Five minutes, hard stop, anything goes. Ruby is welcome, but so are strange side quests, tiny experiments, or whatever you'd happily ramble about for a few minutes. No slides needed, just you and something to say. One of my personal favourites was about a boat lift in the UK. Room for about six talks, talk to @Kim or @Joel if this is something you'd like to do! PS: Did you know there's a Cozy Ruby Discord?

💡 Building at AI Speed with Context, Agents & Creativity AI is rapidly evolving from a coding assistant into a new way of building software and products. At this session, Prabhu Dorairaj, Engineering Manager leading AI adoption at Flightradar24, will share his hands-on journey from prompting to context engineering, agent harnesses, multi-agent orchestration, and the emerging idea of agentic software factories - where AI becomes part of the entire engineering lifecycle. Join us and learn: ⚡ How context engineering takes AI beyond simple prompting ⚡ What agent harnesses and multi-agent orchestration look like in practice ⚡ The emerging idea of agentic software factories and what they mean for engineering Through real products and creative experiments built along the way, Prabhu will show how AI is changing not only how fast we build, but what a single person or team is capable of creating. If you work with AI, engineering, or product, or simply want to understand where AI-driven building is heading next, this session is for you.
