About this event

Designing What’s Next
AI, agents and the changing shape of experience

Dublin UX is back this September for an exclusively in-person evening of talks, conversation and community, presented in partnership with SiriusXM.

Now in our 11th year, Dublin UX continues to bring together the people shaping products, services and experiences across Ireland and beyond. For this edition, we’ll explore how AI and agentic technologies are changing the way products are designed, how teams work and how experiences connect across an expanding range of surfaces.

Join us for three talks featuring four speakers, followed by an opportunity to continue the conversation with the wider Dublin UX community.

Event schedule

Doors open at 6pm with a food, drinks and networking reception.
The talks will begin at 6:45pm sharp and the formal programme will finish by 8:30pm.
There will be additional networking at SiriusXM until 9pm.

The running order and individual session timings remain subject to change.

Dublin | Claude Code Impact Lab

Dublin, Ireland, Dublin, Ireland
In person

Join a Claude Community Event, organized by local enthusiasts for everyone who loves building with Claude! Talk first, build next Claude Conversations runs as a pair of events. The talk was on Thursday 17 September, when people who use Claude all day sat beside people who are mainly just uneasy about it and worked through three questions: what does AI mean for my job, what is AI doing to me, my kids and my community, and who decides the rules. This is the build. We're going back through everything that came up and pulling out the problems people actually named, the ones concrete enough to build against. Those become the briefs, and they'll be posted on this page ahead of the day. Each team picks one and spends the evening building something with Claude Code that takes a real swing at it. How the evening runs Doors open at 17:00. Come with a team of up to five, or come on your own and we'll put you with people when you arrive. Teams pick a brief and build until demos start at around 20:00, with pizza in the middle so nobody has to down tools for long. Every team then gets a few minutes to show what it built, running live, and the winners are announced before we finish at 21:00. Credits, prizes and judging Every participant gets $100 in Claude API credits, and the winning team takes the prizes, including a month of Claude Max 20x for each member. Builds are judged on how directly they take on the problem they picked, whether they actually work when shown live, and whether someone could realistically pick them up and use them after the night. Who it is for People who already code with Claude Code. Four hours goes quickly and there's no time to learn the tool on the night, so you should be comfortable building and shipping with it before you arrive. If you're new to Claude Code, this isn't the one to start with. Before you come Bring a laptop with Claude Code installed and working, and your charger. The API credits attach to an organisation in the Claude Console (consol

Managing people and agents together: choose your team, not your cage (Rome)

Dublin, Ireland · AI for All - Europe
In person

Your agents can now find a bug, fix it and draft the pull request, or hunt for new business like a sharp intern. They act with real authority, and they rarely belong to one person. They belong to the team. So who is accountable when an agent acts? Who assigns the work and who checks it? And how do you get every agent working together, whether it's Codex, Claude, Grok Bot, Duet or a Slack bot, without betting your company on one vendor? Join us for an hour on running people and agents as one team, with no lock-in to any AI provider. You'll leave with: \- One shared task list where people and agents each have a named owner \- A way to check agent work against a written contract instead of taking it on trust \- A setup that works across agents from different vendors\, so you can switch whenever you like \- A live example from a small company that runs this way every day We'll build on HeyStax, a shared work graph for people and agents, and SpecFlow, open-source contracts that say what the software or agent must do. For founders, small business owners and enterprise leaders who want agents doing real work with someone clearly accountable.
