A Night to Remember the Cost of the Women's Vote: Iron Jawed Angels Film Screening & Panel
A Multigenerational Screening of Iron Jawed Angels More than a century ago, women marched, organized, protested, were arrested, imprisoned and brutalized in the fight for a right many of us exercise today without a second thought: the right to vote. This election season, we want to remember what we've inherited and be reminded of our responsibility to spend that inheritance well. Join us for a special screening of Iron Jawed Angels, the powerful story of the women who risked their freedom, their health and their lives to secure women's right to vote in America. Bring your mother, your grandmother, your daughter, your granddaughter, your sons, grandsons, spouses and partners. Bring the women and men whose voices have shaped your life. This is a nonpartisan gathering. We simply want to remember what it took for women to have a voice in our democracy—and remind one another that the right they fought so hard to secure is ours to exercise. Whether you know this history by heart or are encountering it for the first time, we hope you'll experience it alongside women from different generations. Because the women before us showed up so that we could have a voice. Now it is our turn to show up and use it. Doors will open at 5 PM. Pizza and drinks will be provided. The movie will begin at 6 PM, followed by a multi-generational panel discussion. This event is hosted by Trade Last Executive Coaching and Consulting in partnership with LEAP Academy, Jesse Ihde and Marsha Clark. NO REFUNDS AFTER OCTOBER 21
