Create an API key
On your Brouky developer page, create a key and copy it. It is shown once. Export it as BROUKY_API_KEY in the environment Cursor starts from.

Add Brouky to mcp.json

Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project, or .cursor/mcp.json for one project.

Check it
Open Cursor Settings, then MCP. Brouky should be listed with its tools and a green status. Then ask in the agent chat.

The key is missing or revoked. Check BROUKY_API_KEY is set, or paste the key into the header directly for a quick test.

It says the tool is part of paid plans

Free accounts get look-ups, country overviews and one VC Finder run with the top 5 matches. Ask, more VC Finder runs, deck analysis and deal sourcing need a paid plan. The message carries the link to the plans; ask your assistant "what's my Brouky plan?" to check your credits.
